As I monitored, chromium-crosswalk repo is force updated last week. Force
update is bad, especially for ccrosswalk repo.

Thanks,
Halton.

Alexis,
It seems that @darktears is your account. Have you done the force update for
the crosswalk repo? Any reason to share with us?
It blocks all of developments, code review and merge unless this problem gets
fixed. Hundreds of patches are lost for these repos.
Please treat it as a highest priority.

Just received the message from github support channel.

Hi Shiliu,

It looks like a force push was made to several branches around 17:51 PST on
2013-11-09. The tip of the master branch was changed from a2dca91 to f46d7b9.

If you need help recovering the previous tree we could create a new branch in
the repo at a2dca91 for you.

The force push was authenticated with credentials belonging to the GitHub user
darktears.

Thanks,
Shiliu.

Yes, I notice the issue this morning too.
As buildbot is tracking the crosswalk repo every five minutes. I was trying to
find out what happened there.

The recent changes are
view-source:http://wrt-build.sh.intel.com/archive/snapshots/dev-wrt-linux-build/503/changelog.xml
and
view-source:http://wrt-build.sh.intel.com/archive/snapshots/dev-wrt-linux-build/502/changelog.xml<view-source:http://wrt-build.sh.intel.com/archive/snapshots/dev-wrt-linux-build/503/changelog.xml>

As we can see in https://github.com/crosswalk-project/crosswalk/commits/master
, 503's change is included in the current tree, but 502's is not. Which means
there is possibly a force update happened between these two changes.
The 502's change is merging
https://github.com/crosswalk-project/crosswalk/pull/1100 at PRC
time2013-11-9-5:30, and 503's change happens at 2013-11-11-7:06.

So it seems like someone force updated the master branch of crosswalk around
the weekend. Anyone accidently doing that?

As went through all the repos, same thing happens with tizen-extension-xwalk
and crosswalk-demos.

Thanks,
Shiliu.

Hi guys,

I found a serious problem when I send my pull request, it seems the repo has
been force-updated and the master branch fall back to commit 20 days ago!!!
Does somebody else notice this?

Regards
Xingnan
