each session will have its own crosswalk running instance, I think
it's okay to forbidden running one application multiple times under
the same user.
I guess that ok for now. Let’s make the entire thing work and if
needed we’ll improve. On mobile platforms it makes little sense to
run multiple time the same app at the same time for the current user,
at least that’s not how Android/Tizen/iOS/Windows Phone works.
We may reconsider that use case for the desktop platforms as you
*can* in theory run the application multiple times but that’s
material for the future.
The limitations are probably the same as a desktop application: the
application data. If the application can deal with simultaneous access
to its data, it should probably be fine.
Maybe we should think about an API that will tell a running instance
that the user attempted to create a new instance of the application,
so the application can decide what to do: shall the running instance
get focus? spawn a new instance? do nothing?
For this case I think perhaps it's better to spawn a new 'window'
instead of a new application instance, WDYT?
