Hi,
Now that we moved our bug tracking to JIRA, I was thinking if we could
maybe use the "milestone" field of the Pull Request to track Pull
Requests pending review (label should be the way to go, but we don't
have that for PR).
The idea would be setting it to a milestone like "[Component]_Review"
(i.e. Tools_Review, SysApps_Review, Extensions_Review"). After the
review is completed, the reviewer would clear the milestone.
Currently is not always clear if a PR is being worked or is pending
review. With this milestone hack, we can query in one click everything
that is pending review for a given component, similarly to the "r?" we
had on WebKit.
The only issue I see is apparently milestones can be set only by people
with "merge rights". A first time contributor to the project with a
github account should be able to set the milestone in order to make this
flow work. Does anyone know if we can tweak the settings for that?
Cheers,
