Fellow pedestrians,

We would like to update the Tizen Mobile versions we are supporting and
testing, probably after we branch crosswalk-4.

Concretely, at this moment we want to stop supporting and testing Tizen
2.1 and move to Tizen 2.2 instead for crosswalk-5 and beyond. This
should allow us to move away from a very outdated Tizen release to a
slightly less old one which hopefully has some bug fixes relevant to us.

For Crosswalk developers, the biggest impact is on the devices used for
testing: PR3 devices will not work and will not be supported. Tizen 2.2
should be tested on ZTE Geek phones.

As for Tizen 3.0 Mobile: Sakari managed to build and run Crosswalk on a
device with 3.0 without having to do any modifications to the source
code, which is a very good sign. Tizen 3.0 as a platform is not entirely
stable yet, though, and requires a different device to run too. At this
point, I would say that support for it is experimental, but we want to
actively support it very soon by adding one build slave and producing
canaries. Stay tuned for more news about this.
