Hi,

The non-service mode “xwalk install path” was removed suddenly (PR
1698<https://github.com/crosswalk-project/crosswalk/pull/1698>) on today’s
canary build 5.34.99.0, QA just got the final clarification about the
“non-sevice mode is deprecated for both IVI and Tizen Generic” yesterday
afternoon. Furthermore, there is no alternate way for “xwalk url” with service
mode in 5.34.99.0
(XWALK-1193<https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/browse/XWALK-1193>), need some
work to handle such test cases.

The test tools, test suits, and automation test scripts need to be updated, the
test report will be delayed, QA will do the best to deliver test reports early.

BTW, the new reported issue “http link doesn't work with ‘run as service’ mode
on IVI” ( XWALK-1194<https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/browse/XWALK-1194>)
blocks Crosswalk on IVI PnP testing as well.

QA will strengthen the communication with stakeholders, but please notify QA
earlier if such critical changes happen. :)
