Hi folks,
So I found and took this for a spin today -

Outside of the build time, a two line update, and this built without issue for
minimal effort - kudos.
I did however get some kickback when I tried to launch.
I get what appears to be a known dynamic - "Running without the SUID
sandbox"....
My environment is:
Build Configuration:
BB_VERSION = "1.22.0"
BUILD_SYS = "x86_64-linux"
NATIVELSBSTRING = "Fedora-20"
TARGET_SYS = "i586-poky-linux"
MACHINE = "qemux86"
DISTRO = "poky"
DISTRO_VERSION = "1.6.1"
TUNE_FEATURES = "m32 i586"
TARGET_FPU = ""

meta-yocto
meta-yocto-bsp = "daisy:b2f045c400fa8bd20b319c60137b1575f967cef1"
meta-crosswalk = "master:facd6fc2139dfe01897cb1676dabcb07c36d12d0"
I did spot this
https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/si/jira.issueviews:issue-html/XWALK-203/XWALK-203.html
So, I guess my question is, is there any magic I need to know to get further
here in a qemu environment?
I guess I'm kicking the tyres a little here. I understand the two primary
targets are android and tizen. So it was with some pleasant delight I stumbled
across the yocto work.
Does this represent a new official target env for the crosswalk project?
Hi Tom,
The "Running without the SUID sandbox" is not an error. We are
explicitly disabling in on all the Linux builds (although seccomp
sandbox is still enabled).
If it is not running, there must be another problem. You are building
the sato reference image, right?
Hardware acceleration won't work, but you should be able to run the
non-webgl examples just fine.
BTW, I've been maintaining this layer. You can grab on freenode at
#crosswalk or #yocto by the nick "tmpsantos" at any time in a european
friendly timezone. I'll be glad to help any issues you might be having
with this layer.
Br,
