My app Link Bubble[1] currently uses WebView to load web pages in a background Service and display them to a user once the page content has finished loading.
For various reasons I’m not happy with the system WebView and would like to use Crosswalk instead. However, this is not currently possible, as XWalkView assumes the Context it is created with is an Activity rather than a Service. Are there any plans to make embedding via Crosswalk work with a Service? Alternatively, would anyone informed care to provide an indication as to how much work I might be in for to make this change myself?
