Hi Krish,

Both
screen.lockOrientation("landscape");
screen.lockOrientation("landscape-primary");
works with 4.32.76.6 on test device Nexus 5 today.

I guess you typed something wrong with the closed </script> tag?

<script>

window.screen.lockOrientation(“landscape”);

</scrip>

</script>

Subject: Re: [Crosswalk-help] What is the right way to lock screen orientation?

Hi,
I'm using ./make_apk.py --manifest=/path/to/your/manifest.json
--orientation=landscape and it works like a charm!
No idea if there are other ways to set it in non-java code.

Cheers,
Antonio

Hey guys,

I'm using 4.32.76.6 stable and unable to lock screen orientation.

I used

<script>

window.screen.lockOrientation(“landscape”);

</scrip>

in the body of my html

Is that the right way?

Deploy/test device used was Nexus 7 (android 4.4)

Any right pointers would be great! Thanks you.
