Hello,

Thanks for report this Low FPS issue. I found it is true for IA device(around
10 FPS) while on ARM device, Crosswalk can get FPS near 30. I have created a
but to track it:
https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/browse/XWALK-2643
We will begin to investigate it soon. You can track the progress in the link.

Hello,
from my tests i can see that the same web page under chrome for mac has a high
framerate, very fluid. I can't say the exact number but it looks like a 30 fps.
Under crosswalk it looks like 5 fps. those numbers are indicative because i
cannot get values.
Thanks

Hello,

Crosswalk is based on Chromium. It seems Chrome has this “not able to change
FrameRate” bug in https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=381698
and I think the fix is on the way.
About the low FPS, What is the FPS you got on your side? If the FPS is lower
than Chrome, that will be a Crosswalk bug and We will fix it. Thanks.

Hello,
thanks for your fast reply.
I have been trying with both crosswalk-7.36.154.13 and crosswalk-8.37.189.8.
I also use easyrtc under crosswalk and everything works fine. Also under
easyrtc (that uses getUserMedia) is not possible to change framerate.

Hello,

Thanks for the question. First, can I know the Crosswork version you are using?

Subject: [Crosswalk-help] Some strange behaviour about rtc

Hi guys,
i am using crosswalk and i must say it is almost perfect for my purposes. I am
trying to use rtc capabilities to shoot photo using getUserMedia. I see that
video capture framerate is very low.
Following w3c specifications about media constraints i tryed to change
framerate but i always get an error.
This is the code.

var constraints = {
            audio: false,
            video: {

                mandatory: {
                  minFrameRate: 30
                },

                optional: [{
                    sourceId: this.videoSources[this.currentCameraIndex]
                }]
            }

        };

        navigator.getUserMedia(constraints, this.successCallback,
this.errorCallback);

Is it possible to change such framerate in crosswalk? I am trying this code on
a intel based android tabled.
Thanks
