I'm testing on Kit kat 4.4.4.

But how does the 7.36.154.7 is not hiding the menus? I guess that there
must be a kind of flag on AndroidManifest that disables it, but i'm using
the same XML to compile on both versions.

I have to say that the problem is not the menu hiding, but the fact that
after the keyboard is closed, the menu is kept over the content, so I can't
click on the bottom edge of the screen. I have to lock and unlock the phone
to hide it again.
