The app attempts to start but crashes (several times, not sure if that's expected or not) with the message "Unfortunately, KitchenSink has stopped". I've got the required software installed (https://crosswalk-project.org/documentation/getting_started/linux_host_setup.html#Installation-for-Crosswalk-Android) on my Mac, which is running OS X 10.10. I did some Googling, but couldn't find a solution. I saw a recommendation to grep xwalk related lines from adb logcat, which I've included below: W/XWalkInternalResources( 2184): org.xwalk.core.R$id.autofill_popup_window is not found. W/XWalkInternalResources( 2184): org.xwalk.core.R$drawable.autofill_popup_background_up is not found.
