That would be great. Thank you!

Hello,

I was wondering, has this bug been fixed yet in any of the releases? I'm still
using Crosswalk 9 because of this, but would like to upgrade to a new version.

Thanks!

Junwei,
Thanks.

Hi Dave,

Your feedbacks is quite helpful!

Yes, We confirmed this is a regression bug
https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/browse/XWALK-3207 when fixing volume
relevant bugs in crosswalk-cordova-android project, that's why it doesn't
happen on Crosswalk builds.

Please watch the bug XWALK-3207 to get the latest status in time. :)

Thank you for reporting this!

Subject: Re: [Crosswalk-help] Issue with Galaxy S5 fullscreen

Hello,

I tested on a Galaxy S5 and a Galaxy Note 2014, when I change the volume, the
volume bar shows indeed, but the title bar also drops down, and there is no way
you can remove that title bar again. Even swiping it up or clicking somewhere
in the app won't hide it. It came to my attention when people starting leaving
reviews after I updated my app from Crosswalk 9 to 10.

In my app I put
"<preference name="Fullscreen" value="true" />"
in config.xml to make it go fullscreen. Is that the right way to do it?

P.S.
The S5 has android version: 4.4.2
Note 2014 10.1: 4.4.3
Using Crosswalk Cordova 10 beta

Greetings,
Dave

Hi Dave,

Thank you for trying Crosswalk!

For Android 4.4, Crosswalk support Android immersive Full-Screen Mode
(https://developer.android.com/design/patterns/fullscreen.html ). When using
Crosswalk Full screen with native Android 4.4, swipe down from the top can exit
full screen, the title bar will display, to exit the mode, simply tap the
screen can hide the title bar. When change the volume with volume hardware keys
(+/-), it displays volume bar only, it doesn't show title bar. Tested on Galaxy
Note 3/Nexus 5/ASUS MemoPad8 with Android 4.4.

What's your Android version of Galaxy S5? By default, the S5 ships with Android 4.4.2
"KitKat" and Samsung's TouchWiz software. How about other apps which goes to
full screen mode + volume change? Is there any way to hide title bar?

Subject: [Crosswalk-help] Issue with Galaxy S5 fullscreen

Hello,

Yesterday I upgraded my app from Crosswalk Cordova 9 to Crosswalk Cordova 10
beta.
I set it to run full-screen and that works, but when I change the volume on my
phone, then the title bar appears and stays (no chance to make it disappear,
even when clicking somewhere in the app).

This doesn't happen on all Samsung phones (S2 and S3 don't have this problem),
after changing the volume and clicking somewhere on the game canvas, the title
bar disappears again.

Anyone know why this happens with the S5?
Thanks,
Dave
