Hi

According to android guide
http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/graphics/hardware-accel.html
You can disable hardware acceleration for an individual view at runtime with
the method “setLayerType”

myView.setLayerType(View.LAYER_TYPE_SOFTWARE, null);

But now, this method “setLayerType” is not supported in XWalkView yet. The bug
is reported. https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/browse/XWALK-5021

Subject: [Crosswalk-help] Hardware Acceleration

Hello all,

At the moment I'm trying to integrate XWalk in a Monogame/Xamarin App.
The integration works, but the hardware acceleration setting is causing
problems:
- XWalk need hardware acceleration to show anything.
- For Monogame we don't want hardware acceleration as it causes problems
- They are visible on screen at the same time.
So we need a way to enable hardware acceleration on for XWalk only, not the
complete App/Activity.
I have already tried to enable it for the XWalkView and Window seperately, but
that's not doing anything.
Maybe there is a specific combination of settings that works, but I can't find
it.
Do any of you know a way to do this?
Is there a specific setting to enable it only for XWalk?

Thanks!
Best regards,
Marco
