How did you test this?

Currently this flag does only apply to the render thread. For browser thread(On
Android),  this is useless.

BTW, there are two variants of this flag:
Xwalk --disable-gpu-vsync=gpu
Xwalk --disable-gpu-vsync=beginframe

We’re looking to disable vsync for testing purposes.
With Chrome you can disable async by passing the flag —disable-gpu-vsync on the
command line, but passing it to Crosswalk (through config.xml) does not work.

Anything I’m doing wrong?

Thanks,
Bar.

We are currently under vsync. And we didn’t test flag —disable-gpu-vsync before.
Could you please help to share some background about this? Also, you may help
to rise a ticket here: https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/

Subject: [Crosswalk-help] How to enable the —disable-gpu-vsync flag?

Hi,

How can I enable the —disable-gpu-vsync flag in Crosswalk for Android (I’m
using Crosswalk 18)?
I tried adding the following line to config.xml but vsync was still enabled.

<preference name=“xwalkCommandLine" value="--disable-gpu-vsync" />

Thanks,
Bar.
