Hello, We have been transitioning from WebView to XWalkView in our Android app but believe we have stumbled across a big issue. We create a WebView sometimes for the user through a service and using a window manager but XWalkView requires an Activity to initiate it. This is something I have asked the Crosswalk help list previously but I want to check again and make sure there are no work-arounds that I have missed.
I have seen that some other people have had some trouble with this as well, is there any known solution to use something other than an Activity Context to initialize the XWalkView in a service? If not, then is this something that is planned to be added in the future? We have been trying to spoof an Activity and now trying to create an Activity but this seems to end in poor user experience since only part of the screen is used by the WebView. Thanks, Jon
