Hello, We look forward to being able to use Crosswalk within our App but we still haven't been able to finish the implementation due to the inability to use Crosswalk within our services.
We were worried that Crosswalk was going to be a dead end, so learning that the Crosswalk team is planning on decoupling XWalkView from Activity in the next version is great news for us. However, due to some time constraints it would be very helpful to know of a general time that this is expected to be completed so we can plan accordingly. This hangup appears to not have a work-around besides creating another activity but since we are using an overlay, creating an Activity leads to a poor user experience. I hope you have better luck finding a work-around, as of now we are stuck until something changes.
