All, We've reached a long desired milestone: we have automated tests run on pull requests as part of our gate process!
The current process uses Travis-CI and the BDD framework for basic UI & API validation of all pull requests. You also have the option to turn Travis on for your own clone and have it test all commits in your personal clone. I highly recommend this step. There is still a lot of room for improvement - the BDD tests do not validate ANY deployment scripts. Even so, this is a major milestone for the project!
