Right now, Crunch's protocol buffer methods (o.a.c.util.PTypes and
o.a.c.util.Protos) only work w/protocol buffers that were generated using the
2.3.0 compiler. We should update these APIs to make them compatible w/the 2.4.x
compiler(s) as well.
