God no! Thats just where I had the MSD to make sure that it was wired
properly, and that she runs.... The meet was essentially a work in progress
day seeing as we got most of the civic hatch taken apart, and storm is now
on the road....I came across a piece of acrylic "lexan" and I bent it just
right to mount it on the firewall just above the intake manifold.... The
acrilic is flexible enough that if for some reason the engine bucks far
enough back to contact the MDS box that it'll give, but there is almost
2.5"-3" before any part of the engine will hit the box, and I have the
energy suspension "torque" inserts, so if the motor ever finds a way to
"roll" that far back in the engine bay, I'm probably going to have bigger
problems than a bent MSD box =) I'll have to get someone with a digi cam to
take a picture of the engine bay once I am happy with the wiring (I'm anal
when it comes to wiring....especially under the hood, my friend has a MX-6
that looks like there is a rats nest under the hood...shudder)

I really like the B&W version of that photo too, robert, would you mind if I
posted it on our forum?

Maybe the day will come when our cleveland roads will be graced by jiggy =)
