Basically I want an 88-91 Civic Hatch or CRX for a cheap beater. Its must be a 4 or 5spd and running. I just need something to drive around in for a few months, and then its getting an engine swap after I buy a nice daily driver. I do not care which model it is. I am looking to spend about a 1000. The body must be in decent shape, like if it needs a fender or has some rust its ok, but nothing major. Email me with what you have.
I am looking for a car because I am sick of dealing with my 91 Civic, The orignal engine was tired, so I bought a blown engine, which he claimed was in perfect running order, from someone on this list (who will remain nameless in case the .01% chance that he didn't know it was blown when he sold it me). After that I bought a z6. I was running my dx intake on it for two months because I did not have time to reiwre the car after doing two engine swaps in one week. This past weekend I finally put the z6 manifold on with an 89 Integra ecu, and a temporary switch to activate vtec (long story about that). The top end really came alive, I loved this mod atleast the 200 miles I drove it. So yesterday I was driving and I blew the transmission when I was driving around the block. I just got off of the phone with the kid who was supposed to look at the car yesterday 5 minutes before I blew the tranny. I have ! no luck. I dropped the price by 500, so hopefully the kid is going to buy my car today.
