Fred,

The cable sounds like it's too tight. Loosen the two locknuts on the rubber
boot thingy and seat it so there's a little slack on the cable- this should
solve your idle issue. If you still need to adjust the idle, locate a small
screw under where the throttle body comes to a stop (points up). You'll
need to break the locktite seal on the nut, adjust the screw, lock the nut,
then re-apply locktite (I use old nail polish on the screw- works the same).

Subject: CRX: Idle Adjustment Screw

Okay, I know this is a really basic question, I'm just too lazy to try and
find either of my service manuals right now (it's been a long, hot day).

I just replaced my throttle cablewith one from a 90-91 Integra, and it's
idling right around 1200 right now...where do I find this stupid screw? Can
I adjust it by the two screws at the end of the little rubber boot thingy
that holds the cable to the clamp right on top of the intake manifold? I'm
assuming I can...but which way would be better.

Thanks!

Fred
