Many of you know that my company has me travel a lot (more this year than
last). While majority of my travels have been to the San Francisco Bay
area (which includes Sam Mateo, Oakland and Pleasanton) and Indianapolis
(the downtown area), here are some observations I've made:

* Whenever I'm *NOT* in my CRX, I see a ton of CRX's. This includes when
I'm back home in San Diego driving the Volvo. When I'm in my CRX, I'm
lucky to see one during the week!

* Whenever I'm in the Bay area, I see more women in CRX's then I do
guys! Not that I mind. Nothing like a little Honda-Honey "Eye Candy" to
compliment the curves of a CRX! :^) And, of course, I'm always in some
rental car when I spot said CRX's! :^P

* There has always been a difference in how the Jap Imports are done out on
the West coast as compared to those out on the East coast. The CRX's I've
spotted in my travels out to Indy (and the occasional trips out to New York
and Florida) are more *pure* in looks as opposed to the ones out on the
Left coast where it's more *flashy*. I do occasionally spot a tricked out
CRX which has the right amount of custom work done to it. Not saying that
one is bad over the other but the ones I've seen East of California tend to
retain more of the stock look than those out here. It's still all good,
IMHO. I stock looking CRX on the outside tends to catch my eye more than
one with a body kit.

My next travel destination won't be until late August when I head back to
my home state of Hawaii (Oahu). The last time I was out there, which was
1999, I didn't spot ONE CRX. So we'll see... B^)

Drive and enjoy your CRX daily!
