At Mail Call on 27-Jul-02, [EMAIL PROTECTED] was heard to say...
=>Radiators are so cheap, it would be foolish to try to seek
=>a used one. Go to www.absoluteradiator.com -- you can get
=>a dual-core one for a CRX for about $140 delivered.  A
=>regular OEM one is about $20 less. Brand new, with
=>lifetime warranty.

I would normally agree with you on this point. I may very
well even end up taking your advise on this one, because I
can't debate the logic. That said though, when you open
your wallet and the only thing that comes out are moths...
That's why I was looking for used first.

Understand, when we found my CRX, I was just coming out of
a financial black hole. For the last month, it's taken
almost everything I've made to get caught up, and I wasn't
looking at being able to reestablishing my savings until
mid-August. Thus, I'm having to both payoff and work on the
car paycheck by paycheck. So I'm in the unenvable position
of having to look for used parts to get the car on the road
for the time being. In short, I'm trying to work on
Champaign with a Root Beer budget. If I'm lucky, I'm hope
to get the car back on the road in minimal form by
November. Once that's done, I can start stuffing funds back
to cover what I'll need for the Si upgrade (the scariest
part of which is gonna be that engine swap).

Thanks for the advice. Just wanted to explain my current
situation so you have a better idea of what I'm facing.
