You should really consider having the door handles shaved and then
installing a "shaved door kit". These can range in price from as low as
$50 (USD) per door to as much as $300 (USD) for a complete kit.

Anyway, to get the lock assembly out is pretty straightforward:

1. Remove the door panel taking care not to damage any of the plastic clips
that hold it in place. They sell a special tool to help pop door panels
off which looks like a small metal fork. But I find that if you use care
and go slow you can pop the panel out and not damage/break any of the clips
(or the panel for that matter). You can use a flat blade screwdriver to
help pry the panel to get you started ~ just use care.

2. Now look towards the door handle. You should see two bolts that hold it
in place. Remove them. Now pull the door handle out ~ you'll need to pop
the connecting rods using a flat blade screwdriver.

3. The cylinder, if not mistaken, is held in with a retaining clip. You'll
have to remove it in order to get the cylinder out.

Installation is in the reverse order.

The cylinders, if I recall, are around $40 (USD) from the dealer. If you
decide to order one from the dealer to replace this one, ask them if you
can have it keyed for your key. Usually they can at no additional charge..

If you want to have a shoppe perform these services, it should take them no
more than 1 hour to do this job.

HTH!
