A few days ago, we had a thread about radiators and stuff. Well... Jiggy's
sprung a leak in his. Not sure how but it was a small puncture.

In any event, I called around yesterday ~ the dealer wanted $350 (USD) and
it was not in stock. Would take 2 to 3 days to get. The local PepBoys,
Kragen and AutoZone all had one in stock. Kragen was the lowest at $179.99
(USD) so I went down and picked it up. Slapped it in last night. I don't
know what brand this is but it looks very close to what I had in there
before (which I think was the Denso...). The nylon drain plugs are
different, though, so I don't really like the fact that I won't be able to
get a replacement if something should ever happen to it.

Anyway... it dropped right in and all the hoses lined up so I can't
complain. It came with a limited 12K mile/12 month warranty (which is more
than I expected).

I know I probably could have gotten one for less if I had looked further
but Kragen was close and I probably would have paid about the same if I got
it elsewhere (i.e. mail order...) if you include shipping.

I did not document the installation... I didn't think about it until after
the fact. But the total time to do the R&R was about 2 hours. I spent
more time taking the old one out (which I think is typicall...).

If anyone has any questions, please let me know...
