I was wonderin what the maximum size opf tires i could fit into my car?
I assume you are asking what the maximum size wheels you can fit on your car. I know 18s can be crammed in there and I have actually heard rumor that someone was able to stick a set of 20s. But I have not been able to verify that claim so I am just going to say that 18s is the largest you can go. However... while 18s will fit, I feel it looks out-of-proportion due to the relative small car that the CRX is. 16 and 17s are generally used.
I'm running 16 x 7 inch rims with a 205/40 series tire and I can run my car down to around 3 inches from stock (via the coil over kit... The kit actually allows me to go even lower but the body kit is basically resting on the pavement at that point...) and still have clearance (but it's tight!). Normally, I set the ride height to be around 1.5 inches from stock which still gives my car a nice stance.
I can get a 00 prelude set of rims and tires for dirt cheep at my work
and i was wondering if they would fit? Thank you very much
Doesn't the 2000 Prelude have a 5-lug pattern? In which case you will need to get a wheel adapter. Just be sure that it doesn't have too much positive offset.
P.S. Do you know if there are any big CRX groups in the Calgary Alberta
area.
Not to my knowledge... but there are to the left of you in British Comlubia.
