Subject: CRX: RE: 2 problems....1. Brake light - check the level of your brake fluid. It is probably low, which would also kinda indicate that you'll probably need new pads/shoes before long. As a temporary fix, you can add some DOT 3/4 (do NOT use DOT 5!!!) fluid to bring the level up, with will more than likely cause the light to go off.
2. can you isolate it any further? Does it matter whether the a/c is on or off? When the radio is on or off? Is the sound coming from the stereo speakers? Does the sound increase/decrease with engine speed? road speed?

Subject: CRX: 2 problems....Hello everyone! I need some help. I just had a new right front axle and 2 cv
boots put on my 91 CRX DX last week. This week I have come across two new
problems.#1: My emergency break light will not turn off. It doesn't feel like the
break is one so I'm assuming it's electrical.#2: My car begain to make a whistling noise today. When I push on the
accelerator, I can't hear it but when I'm just cruising whether in a gear or
in neutral, I hear a high pitch whistling sound. What's wrong?Any input would be helpful cause I kinda suck when it comes to mechanical
malfunctions. Thanks.Beth
Title: RE: 2 problems....
Isn't
#2 often indicative of the throwout bearing going out on
you?
