Check the door switches and make sure they are working.  The key-warning buzzer (or chime) could be disconnected or not working.  On second Gen, it's located just under the igintion switch tumbler ~ you'll have to remove the steering column cover in order to see/gain access to it.   Robert K. When y ou open the door the light doesnt come on. also most recently i noticed that when i have the car on and i open the door i dont hear that famous repeating honda triple-beep. does this sound like i have bad door switches? anyone had this problem? thanks ronnie
