It's
actually one of the easiest things to do on your car, you probably don't even
need a manual. Basically, you open the roof, and undo two nuts on the back
underside of the panel, and the two bolts on the front of the panel that you see
attaching it to the frame. Then the panel lifts right off.
To get
the mechanism out, you have to pull out the headliner, which means you have to
take off the all the plastic surrounding it. Then, it's about 8 nuts, and the
entire thing is out of your car. To reinstall, it's the reverse. Just be sure
that when you put it back in, don't tighten the nuts all the way, as there
is some adjustment room to slide the whole mechanism around to center it. When
you're happy with it's position, tighten everything down, and put the headliner
back in! The first time I did it, it took me about 15 minutes to get the
mechanism out, and about 10 to get it in. I've done it a few times now, and
it's about a 10 minute job to get it out, and 10 to get it back in. You
won't have any trouble, it's pretty self explanatory.
The
first time I did it, I looked at the service manual here: http://www.quickhonda.net/index2.htm
It's for the 91, but they are really all the same.
