I sold my 1986 CRX Si to my son a year ago. He decided to use it to deliver
pizza. Can you see where this is going? Do I have to replace the engine with
an 86 Si model or do I have other choices?
I assume you are saying that you need to replace the engine because it's on it's last legs and not because your son is using it to deliver pizza. :^)

In any case, you can install a B-Series engine but it will require an engine mount kit (like the HA Sport #AFB1). My recommendation is to check out HA Sport's web site (http://www.hasport.com/) as there is a lot of information there on what is involved with this swap. There are links on their site to other resources as well.

The front bumper assembly also needs replacement along with the hood. What choices do I have here? (after
market and factory)
Stock hood will be in the $200-$250 (USD) price range and the front bumper will be in the $125-$150 (USD) price range from the dealer (or at least that's what I've seen out here in Southern Cali).

You can try some of the local part places such as Napa Auto Parts, AutoZone, PepBoy's and Kragen (just to name a few). They can usually get OEM versions at much lower costs.

Some other places on the web you may want to try

Majestic Honda - http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/
HParts - http://www.hparts.com/
HAP Recycling - http://haprecyc.com/
JC Whitney - http://www.cjw.com/

An alternative is to have a local body shoppe repair your stock hood.
