Last nite while driving from El Segundo (Where I live) to Studio City in the San Fernando Valley, my Alternator crapped out. The car got me to my destination and back on just the battery. I had my headlights on all the way there, but cut the usage back about 80 percent while driving home on the freeway. Not even a stutter when I pulled into my driveway. After thinking about it, the light went on shortly after I went up to 7K RPM while shooting onto the busy freeway......I have a habit of doing this since I chipped my ECU earlier this year. I am assuming that i placed too much demand on the electrical system. Gotta look at it today.
