Also, be VERY careful with the installation process... I bought one (found a
good deal on a used one on eBay nearly 2 years ago now) to repair the damage
from a break-in as well... and in the process of trying to get the new one
in there, I nearly cracked it in half as well. That's what I get for taking
shortcuts.
If anyone has a center console in black, I never got around to that. :) It
wasn't really badly damaged, but still could use to be replaced.

their prices are. I wouldn't recommend buying a used
HVAC control unit. It'll have the same split in half
problem as what he's already got eventually, and you
don't want to replace the unit more than once; it's a

There are none in the junkyard because everyone has
had the same problem. Bite the bullet and get a new
one, or you'll be sending out the same email next
summer.
