Here's what I would do- get the rails for an '88 and bolt them to the '85 seats. Be cautioned though that there will be a height difference. When I did my seat swap I learned all about how Honda contoured and matched the stock seats right snug to the floor pan. When I upgraded to the Corbeau Targa RS seats, it was a battle getting the Corbeau rails to sit properly- I did all sorts of surgery but got it to sit correctly.
