Robert,
FWIW,
I searched at www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and
found this:
For
$121 bucks & some change you get a nice kit of parts including the
glass. I *believe* the glass gets wrecked if you try to remove it due to
the weatherstripping/sealing. Just an idea...

Subject: Re: CRX: rear hatch glass :(
Well, The rex is having a bad week.. Some little punk decided the rex would be better off without the hatch glass, and shot it. its still there, but with a B-B hole and shattered into small pieces.
Question, do any of you have an extra? It is the rear glass, with the honda symbol, and the 3rd brake light shines through it. I can't seem to come up with a good name...
I am willing to pay for the glass and shipping/handling. Just e-mail me. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
the car is a 1990 Honda CRX SI Thanks a mil!
I got mine from the local dealer for around $100 (USD) back in 1998 (http://kealoha.cjb.net/kabam.htm). I believe it was referred to as the tail gate glass on the invoice. Why it's not referred to as the hatch I have no idea.
There's an adhesive/weather striping that goes between the glass and the "tail gate". You'll most likely have to replace it. I used one made by 3M which I got from the local auto car glass repair shoppe.
I paid about $12 (USD) for it. They sell similar ones at your local Pep Boy's, AutoZone and Kragen's but I've had bad luck with them in the past -- not sealing properly. So I decided to use what the "pros" use.
In any event, the 3M stuff that I used took about 24 hours to cure (temp was in the low 70F at the time) so I had to use duct tape to hold the glass in place.
Useless Trivia Info: When I had to replace mine, it was what prompted me to finally get off my butt and install the Wings West kit that I had sitting in my garage for 2 months. :^)Robert K. Kuhn
