I was doing some reserch on my car and aside from my fuel injection system it's also my Tranny. It's gear ratio is to high so here's the question. Would a 99' Civic SI tranny fit as a replacement? The only reason I chose this one is because I can get this tranny for $200 and it's gear ratio is pretty good from what I heard. Let me know if you have any idea.

What year CRX do you have again?? Was it a 1989?
In any event, I do not believe that the '99 Civic Si tranny will work. But since I'm not 100% positive, I've included the CRX Owners Discussion List with this reply.
However, I would think it would make better sense to just take the tranny down to a Honda tranny shoppe and have them change the gear ratio to suit your application.
BTW, did you download the info from my server with regards to your MSD ignition?
