Why not get a four wheel alignment? Granted
you can only adjust the front and rear toe and not the camber but if you lower
the car, your rear toe will change just like the front because of all the lovely
bumpsteer. You can use a tape and get the total toe generally close but you have
no way to know if the toe on each side is correct and you can have a thrust
issue (crabbing to a lesser degree). I always haev someone set the front
and rear toe properly whenever I do a major height change or full suspension
removal, then I can use my own tools to do the maintainance over time until I
make another big change.
If you align the front and let the rear go, you'll
still eat the rear tires but probably won't notice it as quickly until they are
feathered or get the notorious 45 degree flat spots that roar and ride
bad.
