I've noticed that the very first quarter-inch or so of the gas pedal
doesn't feel right when I accelerate.  As soon as I pass the rough spot,
shazam!  The engine comes alive and everything's fine.  Could this be a
dirty/sticky TPS?  If the TPS is indeed a variable resistor, would it
make sense to open it and clean it out with contact cleaner?
