Alright, while I've got my engine down for a new head gasket I was thinking of screwing with the crank pulley in my '87 CRX Si. I don't have air conditioning but I've got a stock pulley on there. I've got three options I'm considering:
1. Pull the stock pulley and have someone machine off the air con. portion to "cut" the weight down a little. Cost - minimal, maybe even free at work's machine shop 2. Buy an Unorthodox Ultra S pulley (lighter to start with) and again machine off the air con. portion. These pulley's are readily available on the Net. I just hate to buy something for $100 and then start hacking on it! Cost - $100 + minimal machine work cost 3. Buy an Unorthodox Ultra R pulley which is made without the air con. portion to start with. This is the best option but nobody seems to sell them anymore. Anyone here have a source??? Cost - $100+???
