There's a show, "Screen Savers", on Tech TV tonight at 7:00pm eastern that has a segment on a guy who hacked his Civic so that he could use DOS to re-program it chips. My cable company doesn't carry that channel. : ( The program gets repeated several times over the next 2 days. Go to techtv.com for the listings. It's also on DirectTV, Dish and C-band.
