sendmail patch for smtps (SSL-SMTP)?

Can somebody please point me to a patch for sendmail to enable smtps?

In the interest of saving time and bandwidth:
No, just installing an SSL wrapper/port redirector in front of SMTP will not
work. Unlike pops and imaps, smtps involves more than just wrapping SMTP in
SSL and running the service on a new port.
And yes, I am looking specifically for a patch for sendmail, not other
MTA's.
