On a pentium II 350, I get triple DES in cbc-ede mode doing 23.2
Mbits/sec
(Mbits == 1e6). The DES cbc mode numbers are 65 Mbits/sec.

So doing the simple maths, I get a 482 mhz, or I'd say a pentium 2/3
500.
