I suppose the limitations of these would have to be stated when offered
for sale to keep within (to quote from another web page)

   [n]ational (and international) consumer law, especially that of
   the UK and that promulgated by the EC
   The Trades Descriptions Act (in the UK)
   The general concept of "fitness for purpose"
