I still get the same linking error on 10.2, using g++2 and the new makefile.
The compilation error with g++3 appears during assembling (when 'as' is running).
Anyone else got 10.2 who could confirm that?

I have built crypto and cryptest under MacOS 10.1 I was using gcc 2.95 and crypto 4.2.
Using the provided makefile with crypto 5.0 worked. I'm still not sure why, but it did.
Thank you all for your assistance in solving this (at least well enough to let me put a basic program together).
