Are there any plans to implement the algorithms selected by the Nessie project (New European Schemes for Signatures, Integrity, and Encryption) in Crypto++ ? (more info here: http://www.cryptonessie.org)
There are some interesting algorithms, for example the Quartz signature scheme (although not directly inserted in the portfolio) is the shortest signature scheme which seems to offer decent security. I do believe it's important for it can be used for key generators where the user has to supply software with a license code which can't be the size of a classic public key scheme signature. Also, the block cipher Camellia seems to be a valid alternative to AES and Whirlpool to SHA-512. -- Giuliano Bertoletti e-Security Manager Intrinsic - Security Monitoring http://www.intrinsic.it COOL-FIRE: la soluzione Firewall per Windows NT/2000 http://www.symbolic.it/Prodotti/cool-fire.html SYMBOLIC S.p.A.
