When I build crypto++ 3.2 on Solaris 2.8 using g++ 3.2 and STLport (which I
just installed today), I am puzzled by the fact that when I do an "ldd
cryptest.exe" I still see the GNU libstdc++ library listed, as well as the
STLport library.

Does anyone know if the GNU library is still supposed to be listed? If so,
why? I thought that STLport was supposed to replace it.
