Cryptlib struck me as a commercial product masquerading as an open source project. I walked over their site looking for a clear statement of their license without success. I did see an opportunity to get "pricing" information and a registration requirement for a download. That ended my evaluation. I have no objection to commercial products at all. But a price brings up the nasty question of build vs. buy. Very few software companies can affort to pay other software companies. I like the give and take of free software for established technologies, but if necessary, I can code at least as well as the next fellow.
What do you think cryptlib written in C? I found it is more stable than Crypto++ libraries.
With regarding to LibTomCrypt, does it have API support SSH protocol directly?
I'm sorry, the SSH protocol is not something I don't need and haven't investigated. If you find an answer, I'd like to hear about it.
