Wrt. the validation failures, did you unzip the source with option -a ?
What version of GCC are you using?

Hello,
When I extracted the source I did so on a Windows paltform and then
added the code to my project using subversion. I do all development on
FreeBSD so I downloaded the source there via subversion. Anyhow something
must have gone wrong because when I unziped the source with -a on the unix
machine the validation works fine. So now one problem less :). Thanks for
the help.
