I've managed to get Crypto++ to compile on CC 5.8 which comes with Sun Studio 11, but there seems to be a code generation bug in the compiler (with latest patch applied), when upcasting to a virtual base class, that is preventing the validation tests from completing. I've submitted a bug report to Sun. The current CVS snapshot with these changes is available at http://www.cryptopp.com/temp/cryptopp20061218.zip.
