The comment at the top of osrng.cpp mentions that AutoSeededRandomPool
was suggested by Leonard Janke. Unfortunately I don't remember which
version it was added.
AutoSeededRandomPool uses the RandPool design from PGP. It is suitable
for all cryptographic purposes including generating keys and IVs.
I've clarified the documentation regarding the "blocking" parameter:
//! use blocking to choose seeding with BlockingRng or NonblockingRng.
the parameter is ignored if only one of these is available
On Windows only NonblockingRng (which encapsulates the CryptGenRandom
Windows API) is available, so blocking is ignored.
