Hi All, I'm researching another topic, and wanted to know what is the proper name for the following:
h = H( M ) // hash a message M generate h' by discarding all but the 6 low order bits of h I'm not getting too many hits with 'Truncated Hash' and 'Abridged Hash', so I am thinking I am using the wrong terms.
